I have worked as a cosmetologist FOR 30 years. About 10 years ago, a long-time client came into my salon and shared the horror story of her daughter being sent home from school with "Head Lice"! She panicked and used the first service that would come to her home in a hurry. The technician combed my friend and her daughter and four hours later she left, leaving her with instructions for a lengthy and messy follow-up treatment plan. This plan involved sleeping with olive oil in their hair every night for a month and waking up to shampoo the olive oil out and clean up the mess it made. She decided that there had to be an easier way. Being in the medical field, she researched and found "The Costly Heat Machine Method". She shared her information with me, and I ran with it. After a lot of thought and research, I opened the first Head Lice Treatment center in Monmouth County NJ using this machine. A few years later, after treating many families and learning all there is to know about the treatment of head lice, I realized there was an easier and more cost effective way to treat.
